Privacy policy
What we collect through neuralis.uk, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are
Neuralis runs neuralis.uk and decides how the personal data described here is used. We are an early-stage UK business building software that turns the plate-reading cameras people already own into a searchable record of vehicles.
To contact us about your data, reply to any email we have sent you, or use the early access form on our home page and say it is a privacy request.
What we collect
| When | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You fill in the early access form | Your name and email address. Optionally: whether you have a Hikvision plate-reading camera, and whether you are interested in Neuralis acting as your plate-reading provider from a general CCTV setup. | To reply to your request, to tell you about early access, and to understand which setups people have. |
| You visit the site | Our host keeps standard server logs: your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser type. | To run the site and keep it secure. |
| Your browser loads our fonts | Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details. | To display the site as designed. |
We do not use cookies or advertising trackers on this site. Our host measures overall traffic, such as page views and the country visitors come from, from its server logs, without cookies and without following you around the web. The site does not collect any vehicle, plate or camera data from visitors. If we launch a service that handles that kind of data, it will have its own privacy notice.
Our legal basis
We handle your form details because you asked us to get in touch, and because we have a legitimate interest in running a small business and answering the people who contact us. We handle server logs because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure.
Who sees your data
- Netlify hosts the site, stores form submissions and sends them to us as an email notification.
- Our email provider holds those notification emails and any replies.
- Google supplies the fonts, as above.
We do not sell your details or share them for marketing. These providers may process data outside the UK, including in the United States, and they rely on recognised transfer safeguards when they do.
How long we keep it
We keep your form details while we are in touch with you about early access. If we have not been in touch for 12 months, we delete them. You can ask us to delete them sooner at any time. Server logs are kept by our host for a short period.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or stop using it. You can also ask for a copy in a portable format. Contact us as above and we will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
This site is for businesses and adults. It is not aimed at anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
